About Bamboo and Thatch
Bamboo and Thatch, a subsidiary of The Tiki Shack Importer has
been in the Tiki business for over 15 years. We strive to carry
the best quality products that money can buy. We originally got
into the tiki business because we had always been Tiki lovers and
wanted to offer our interest in tropical decor to the public. Our
Custom Palapa, along with our custom authentic frame/pole kit is
considered to be the best on the market today. Throw in great prices,
and there's just no reason you can't go Tiki.
At home, we decorated our complete house and yard in the tiki theme
and we were always encouraged by our friends to decorate for them
as well. We began to decorate their backyards and vacation homes.
They loved our designs. Many of the images throughout our site are
from those projects.
We only choose top quality products for our customers - we'll
never substitute inferior product, just to save money. You can purchase
product from us knowing every piece is hand picked and chosen not
only for good looks, but for it's durability as well. Come visit
us in our warehouse, we have plenty of palapas and kits in stock
for you to choose from.
Return Policies, Liabilities and Shipping info
Most of our products are shipped the same day except weekends,or
holidays. When buying around holidays shipments are sometimes delayed
a little.
When ordering fishmounts sometimes in the summer shipping delays
many occur due to prime season.
SIZES LISTED are approximate and colors may vary.
PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTABLE: Credit cards accepted: Visa, Master
Card and Paypal
C.O.D.: SORRY, WE DO NOT ACCEPT C.O.D. ORDERS.
FREIGHT DELIVERY SCHEDULES: Due to the many variables over which
we have absolutely no control, we’re unable to, and shall
not, accept any responsibilities for untimely deliveries.
TRACING YOUR SHIPMENT: For UPS or Fed Ex shipments contact us or
use the tracker numbers provided.
CLAIMS: No claims for allowances or returns will be considered
unless we’re notified within three days after receipt of goods
and the product has to be shipped back for inspection with in 7
days of delivery before any refunds will be givin. If customer changes
his/her mind on any orders and product has been shipped already
there is a restocking fee of 25% charge that will be added to returned
merchandise. Once unused returns are inspected we will refund money
less restocking fee if product is resalable. We do not offer any
rentals so dont use and send product back because we can not resale.
All returns under $50 will be reimbursed as a store credit only.
We will not accept responsibility for any damaged or lost merchandise
once its delivered to and/or accepted by the transportation company
if you are using your own shipping company to ship our product.
All claims for lost or damaged goods are the responsibility of the
consignee and all merchandise with packing materials should be retained
for your carriers inspection or claim is void. Shipping is a non-refundable
service.
Note: Bamboo poles and Bamboo products are not returnable, sorry.
Bamboo poles are guaranteed to crack.
FIRE RETARDANT: Fire retardant will be removed by washing. Prior
to ordering, please carefully read the following: Thru-out the country,
fire inspectors may have diverse requirements and it’s therefore
strongly recommended that you consult with your local inspector
prior to any purchase or installation. NO guarantee as to the fire
safety or the acceptability by the governing authorities are expressed
or implied by Bamboo and Thatch, or Tiki Shack Importer.
Fire safety is very important and the standards will, and do vary.
Therefore, advanced planning in conjuction with your local Fire
Marshal is not only a must, but a very wise and cost effective decision.
